Andover School of Montessori Learning Community!

 

                We are located  in historic Andover with our Montessori learning community dedicated to developing joyous learners and responsible citizens.  Curiosity, analytical thinking, and respect for oneself and others are hallmarks of our mission.

                We strive to nurture our students in their intellectual and social growth, creative opportunity, and physical development while pursuing service to the school and the greater community.  ASM has emerged as the pre-eminent Pre-K through Grade 8 Montessori School in the Greater Boston area.

                ASM is purely child-centered, and has been since our founding in 1975.  We base every educational decision on student development and the best interest of each child.  What makes ASM unique is our size and our heart.

                We believe children learn best in an intimate, Montessori-structured environment where teachers and students work directly with each other.  Our student population of 200 to 220 enables us to connect with each child on levels not possible at larger schools – fostering honest, caring friendships between adults and young people—an educational goal in itself.

                We believe the task of educating the whole child starts with matters of the heart.  To that end, we are fully engaged in our Montessori mission to build character and integrity while providing strong academic opportunities.  Our children will eventually be thrust into leadership roles in a world where productive relationships are increasingly important in socio-political and economic realms.

From the South:

Take Route 93 North to Exit 41 Route 125 Andover.  Follow the exit ramp take a  right  on to Route 125.  Go through two sets of  lights.  Take a right after the overpass on to Route 28 North.  Go 1.1 miles up Route 28 North and take a right on to the school property.  Use the large white mailbox post and the school sign to locate the turn.

From the North:
